IITP employees are in the ranking of the most cited scientists according to SCOPUS

The next update of the ranking of the most highly cited (top 2%) world scientists by the number of citations in the Scopus database has been published. This rating is calculated based on standardized indicators for each specific field of science, without taking into account self-citations.

The first list takes into account the citation rate for the entire career, including 2023. The employees of the IITP RAS are also included in this rating: Alexander Zamolodchikov, the head of the laboratory of quantum physics and information, and Alexander Gorsky, the leading researcher of this laboratory.

The second list shows citation rankings for 2023 only. Alexander Zamolodchikov has also entered this list, as well as the acting director of IITP RAS Maksim Fedorov and Evgeny Khorov, head of the Wireless Networks Lab.

This rating, of course, is not a determining factor in the success of scientists. Nevertheless, the presence of employees from our institute and laboratory in particular is an excellent achievement. We congratulate our colleagues on this accomplishment!
