Paper on “Smart surfaces” PUBLISHED in Computer Networks

The paper “Experimental Study of a User-Centric RIS in Existing Cellular Systems” authored by the members of the Wireless Networks Lab Arseny Poyda, Andrey Tyarin, Kirill Glinskiy, Ilya Burtakov, Aleksey Kureev, and Evgeny Khorov has been published in Computer Networks. The authors develop a user-controlled RIS system, which doubles uplink/downlink speeds in field tests.

Evgeny Khorov joins RSF expert council

Evgeny Khorov, head of the Wireless Networks Lab, has become a member of the RSF Expert Council for Young Scientists’ Projects. RSF expert councils are responsible for evaluating and selecting scientific projects submitted for competitions. They monitor the validity of comments in the received expert assessments and formulate final recommendations for the support of projects by the Foundation’s board.

The paper “CSI Compression Method With Dual Differential Feedback for Next-Generation Wi-Fi Networks” written by the members of the Wireless Networks Lab Andrey Barannikov, Ilya Levitsky, Vyacheslav Loginov, and Evgeny Khorov has been recently published in IEEE Wireless Communications Letters.
